As a full-time RVer, I've done a pretty good share of road-tripping and joyriding (see The Silver Snail, a travelogue of my first five years). Since my home is on wheels (see Trailer Life) and my work is mobile (see WaywardPark.com and SharonPieniak.com), I have the flexibility to move frequently or stay for a long while. I'm a big fan of maps and alternate routes. I look for the individual pulse of America's places.
As I continue to travel, this site will expand.
Come with me.

"For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move."
Robert Louis Stevenson, 1879
